Determined to build her own destiny, Helena Rubinstein left her native Poland for Australia with a cold balm concocted by her mother in her suitcase. With the help of a Doctor, the entrepreneur reworked the family recipe and developed her first face cream. Combining science and beauty, Helena Rubinstein was the first to classify skin types and offer skincare products adapted to each. In 1920, she launched her eponymous brand.
