It was one of the big announcements of the Spring season: the launch of The Marc Jacobs, little brother label to Marc Jacobs. The American designer with a pop and irreverent spirit has surrounded himself with a vibrant creative team: Olympia le Tan for design, Lotta Volkova for styling, Hugo Scott for photography, all adept of the mix and match.
On the agenda: reissues of emblematic pieces and accessories at affordable prices. Not to mention addictive and ultra-fashionable collaborations, notably with Sofia Coppola, the designer’s loyal friend…
With The Marc Jacobs, the brand celebrates each piece cheerfully by placing the denominator “the” in front of each name, a way to highlight it and give it an iconic note, without taking it too seriously. Among these new cult collections, there is a small treasure: The Snapshot, an ultra-compact camera-style bag.
It comes in a multitude of colours and materials, with a printed, striped, monogrammed (or both) handles… This little companion is to be tailored without moderation, since the idea is precisely that you compose THE Snapshot of your dreams!
